A madwoman has left people in shock after she
violently and brutally killed her own 9-month-old
baby.

A shocking incident has taken place at Amaduma-
Adankwame near Nfansi in the Atwima Kwanwoma
district of the Ashanti region, Ghana after a 23-year-
old woman believed to be mentally deranged allegedly
beat her 9-month-old baby boy, David Boateng, to
death.
According to a report by Adom News, the mentally
deranged woman identified as Esther Agyei, who is
currently in Police custody at the Abuakwa District
Police for interrogation claims the child died as a
result of some strange illness.
Residents told police that the baby was beaten, added
to the malnutrition which contributed to his death.
Body of the baby has since been deposited at Afari
community hospital morgue for autopsy.
